Lucy Cavendish and Jo Byrne invite you to join them on this enchanted 10-day journey into the sacred sites and crop circle formations of Southern England’s magickal Countryside. Partake in mystical ritual, peaceful meditation, experience galactic energies, faery circles, and dragonfae hills, and share a unique and joyful holiday experience with like-minded souls.
Surrounded by ancient stone temples, and blessed with fresh and regular crop circle formations each season, our base will be in the heartland of Britain’s druid and priestess lands.
Shaped for those who have are drawn to the legendary lands of Avalon, and the mysteries of the crop circle phenomena, this journey will include opportunities for wild-hearted wandering in the countryside, time for dreaming, healing moments and inspired creativity while on your sacred journey.
Those with a fascination with ancestry, history, magick and mystery will delight in the great stone circles of Wiltshire, Glastonbury and her sacred Tor, Merlin’s Mound, and the White Horses and Longbarrows of these ancient lands. Each day will see us take advantage of the formation of new and amazing crop circles, where we will have the opportunity to enter the circles, observe and decode their symbology, feel their energies and decipher their messages. The unique and powerful energies of the crop circles are created each year in the very area we will based... a rare chance to be in the heart of the creation energy!
While on this journey, you will experience teachings grounded in well-researched history, archaeological lore, local knowledge and spiritual connection, deepening and anchoring your connection. Rituals will help you experience magick as a real and tangible force for good, positive change on a personal, planetary and galactic level.
Together, we will meditate in crop circles, experience sunrise in the great healing temple of Stonehenge, walk into the mystery of Avebury, traverse the Tor of Glastonbury, and connect with the ancient landscape of sacred Britain, her faeries, Gods and Goddesses, druids and priestesses.
We will be based in the heart of Crop and Stone Circle country, our comfortable and lovely home for the duration of this tour is the charming country farmlet of Tichborne farm Cottages, Etchilhampton. Located right in the midst of energetic activity, and four kilometres from to the three-thousand year old village of Devizes, our handy location will enable us to take full advantage of opportunities to explore new circles as they are formed, and be dwelling in the very landscape of legend.
You will not only experience the joys of travelling these ancient lands, and learning to read the sacred signs in the landscape, you will have opportunities for time out and space, where you can wander and explore the world of the sacred sites.
SAMPLE ITINERARY
Due to the unpredictably “predictable” nature of the formations, our itinerary will remain flexible, meaning we can experience circles as they are freshly created, still humming with energy. Each day will see a combination of circle work, and sacred site exploration.

*Glastonbury, exploring the Tor, feeling the leyline energies, the Michael and Mary energies of Glastonbury, walking the labyrinth, visiting the entrance to the Underworld, the egg stone, visiting the healing waters of Chalice well and the sacred thorn tree of St Joseph of Arimethea. Lucy, in her role as Priestess of Avalon, and a special guest Priestess will take us all into the history, the lore, and the magicks of this remarkable energetic site.

Guest guides include the well-know and highly respected Dutch crop circle researcher, Janet Ossebaard. Janet has been studying and working with crop circle energy since 1994. She has been involved with and has produced several crop circle documentries and has just released her third book “ Crop Circles “The evidence”. Janet is the Chair person for the Dutch Centre for crop circles studies and gives regular lectures, workshops and tours worldwide.

Your guides will be author, teacher and passionate traveller, Lucy Cavendish, and crop circle expert and down-to-earth spiritual teacher Jo Byrne.
Lucy Cavendish: witch, teacher, author, traveller
Lucy is the author of The Lost Lands: A Magickal History of Lemuria, Atlantis and Avalon, and has been holding classes workshops and retreats on Avalon and her energies for six years. She created Witchcraft magazine in 1992, and since childhood has explored celtic wisdom and mysteries. She has long been devoted to magick, ritual, history and archaeology, and has researched deeply and personally the areas we will be visiting.
Lucy, a natural born witch, has been a devoted student of mythology, druidism, the Craft and magick, and has been giving readings for over 25 years. She delights in making magick that is relevant, uplifting, and joyful.
She has lived in the United States, France, England and dwells now in Sydney, travelling from there with her work. Her life changed when she experienced the energies of these sacred sites for herself, and began to work with their energy in her life and work.
She is the author of The Oracle of the Dragonfae. The Wild Wisdom of the faery, White Magic, and the forthcoming book The Lost Lands, A Magickal History of Lemuria, Atlantis and Avalon. An experienced workshop facilitator, her kind and generous spirit, humour and love of life on this planet are infectious. Jo Byrne: teacher, crop circle enthusiast, traveller
Jo has been facilitating spiritual study groups and workshops in Canberra since 2005.
For more than a decade Jo has studied and watched as each crop circle season unfolds.
In July 2008 Jo finally realised her dream of visiting England and spending time in the magical Crop Circles in Wiltshire. She also spent time in many of the ancient sites in England and Scotland. A dream come true! After spending time in the fields with some of the worlds most dedicated and brilliant researchers she knew the next step in her journey was to bring the truth about crop circls to as many people as possible. She truly believes that we are dissmissing one of the most important phenomenons that show there is more than just us in this amazing universe in which we live!
In 2009 Jo will be facilitating workshops on the mystery of Crop Circles in several states of Australia. It is her desire to share her love of the circle makers with all that are open to receive their loving energies.

All accomodation is share based. There are 3 farmstay units allcomprising of 2
bedrooms each with one double and 2 single beds. This is a self catering farmstay.
Devizes township is 3 miles from this location and offers numerous types of
Food options..eg pubs and restaurants…
The stables were converted into three holiday cottages (Linnet, Swallow & Kestrel) in the autumn of 2002, and have very well equipped kitchens, full central heating and fabulous 'healthopaedic' mattresses that react to the weight and temperature of the body by moulding to its shape.
Guests share the barbecue, patio area with lawn, creating a pleasant sociable atmosphere.
A laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, upright freezer and heated room for drying boots and clothing is available.
A no smoking policy applies in the cottages
There is ample parking space for all the cottages.
All our cottages are inspected annually by Visit Britain and are currently rated as four star accommodation.
In the cottages, there is:
- A living room with sofa & wicker armchairs
- HD LCD Television with Freeview, DVD player, CD / Tape music centre
- Use of private telephone and Wi-Fi Internet access
- Kitchen within the living area has oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge

Food costs, meals, and spending money on experiences like -
Optional micro light flights over Crop Circles. These cost about $100 for half hour.
What you will need to bring...
Good wet weather cloths…eg..a good spray jacket with hood and light spray pants.
Good walking shoes..preferably shoes that you don’t mind being very muddy.
Sunblock (wishful thinking but hey!) & Sun hat.
Drink bottle..you need to drink lots of water
A good back pack to put all your stuff in for each day
Camera and chargers etc

This adventure involves a lot of walking and is not advised for people with
Serious heart problems or health complaints.
We take no responsibility for persons health issues or personal comforts during
the duration of the journey.
We expect all persons to conduct themselves in a responsible and considerate manner.
Early bird price of $3499 will be accepted no later than 30th September 2009 when a non refundable deposit is paid in full. The remainer will be due 1 month prior to tour date. Installments and payment plans can be arranged on request.
All places on this tour will not be secured until a deposit has been paid.
